Korean War Memorial

The Korean War Memorial is located in West Potomac Park, and serves as a memorial to the men and women who lost their lives in the Korean War in the 1950s. The design of the memorial is striking, and includes 19 stainless steel statues representing army, marine, navy and air force personnel. The memorial also acknowledges that the Korean conflict was an international one, with men and women from many countries losing their lives in the conflict.
