Hirshhorn Museum Sculpture Garden

The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden is part of the Smithsonian, and features sculptures and other art works in the post-world war 2 period, especially those produced in the last 30 years or so. The museum and sculpture garden have been closed a number of times since the initial opening in 1969 for renovation work, to improve accessibility and museum facilities.
