Kings Road

The King's Road is the main high street of the Chelsea region of London. Perhaps it's most famous era was in the 1960's, when the King's Road was definitely the place to be seen for celebrities and non-celebrities alike. Even now it is still a fashionable place to shop.

The King's Road was not swinging on the rainy afternoon that I visited

Most sensible people were indoors

Or sheltering from the rain

Plenty of swanky places to eat on the King's Road

Hard to believe - at least on this day - that this was the home of the "swinging 60's"
